The Some Small Heaven series for Advent, Christmas and Epiphany seeks to discover the light within the darkness of winter – and within all our winters – and so, in God’s grace, to find some small heaven each day, even when life comes at us tough, hard and bleak.
The images and text are drawn from Ian’s new book Some Small Heaven. The core of each reflection in the book was written in real time. The images were all taken by Ian around the coasts of Devon and Cornwall in winter.
